Hi Bob...

See, the problem with anxiety is exactly as you describe, a viscious circle.

You get anxius about getting anxius, right?

I was in the same situation as you a while back. Really bad.
I used meditation to cope with the anxiety in the situation.
Focus on your breating and try to feel every sensation in your body. It can help you get grounded again.

But it will NOT cure your problem in the long run.
What you can do (what I did) is to take matters in your own hands and spend some time dealing with your issue and cure yourself.

You need a strategy and a mentor, offcourse.

I used a book I purchased online. It was a bit rough to go trough, but I decided that I wouldnt be a slave to my anxiety enymore.

Really hope you get over it and live life full again.
References :
http://tips-to-prevent-panic-attacks.com
