<p>Thanks. But I&#8217;m not talking about myself. I&#8217;m talking about someone I care about.<br />
<br />We can&#8217;t always know what&#8217;s happening in other people&#8217;s lives that would cause them to have mental health issues.</p>
<p>The human brain is incredibly complex. There may be a number of factors at play in your friend&#8217;s life. </p>
<p>1) She may have a genetically-inherited predisposition, whereby her responses to work or other stressful conditions manifest outwardly in this way.<br />
2) She may have a chemical imbalance &#8211; possibly from overwork, stress, diet, or substance intake &#8211; which is showing up as anxiety.<br />
3) She may have depression, which can manifest as anxiety.</p>
<p>Whatever the reason, it&#8217;s important to remember that beautiful, successful women are not immune from the pressures of daily life. In fact, the opposite may be true.</p>
<p>We live in a day and age where expectations upon young people are far beyond reasonable. It&#8217;s an era of instant gratification, transient acquaintances, and material goals. The pressure on all of us to fit into this constantly-evolving society is greater than ever before.</p>
<p>Family structure and stable societal values are no longer the safety net they once were. Mentors are now few and far between.</p>
<p>Gently suggest to your friend that she should see a doctor or therapist. Don&#8217;t alienate her by being pushy because people with anxiety are prone to be ultra-sensitive to anything they perceive to be criticism or advice.</p>
<p>Whatever the problem, anxiety is usually the &quot;canary in the coal-mine&#8217;. It is a signal that there are deeper, more complex issues beneath the surface. But don&#8217;t be too worried &#8211; these are very common symptoms nowadays.</p>
<p>Anxiety, agoraphobia, depression, and their associated stress-initiated conditions are treatable and, often, curable.</p>

<br />Deep breathing helps you to relax a major nerve that runs from the diaphragm to the brain, sending a message to the entire body to let go and loosen up; Get enough sleep, nourishment, and exercise. Eat well: Choose fruit, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains for long-term energy (instead of the short bursts that come from too much sugar or caffeine). And exercise to send oxygen to every cell in the body so your brain and body can operate at their best; Connect with others. Spend time with friends or family. Organized activities are great, but just hanging out works too. Doing things with those we feel close to deepens our bonds, allowing us to feel supported and secure; Connect with nature. Walking, hiking, trail biking, or snowshoeing offer the additional benefit of exercise. Invite a friend or two — or a family member — along and enjoy feeling connected to people as well. And the most important is to Think positive. A great way to keep our minds off the worry track is to focus our thoughts on things that are good, beautiful, and positive. Allow yourself to dream, wish, and imagine the best that could happen. I know a Self Help Articles with helpful information about Anxiety. Check this one I&#8217;ve posted below.</p>

<br />relax yourself before sit down . here is wat i do i pretend i am in a more dangerous situation like a killer is chacing you through the park and your only hope is to go on the roller coaster anything that is worse than the situation that you are in will work. i have anxiety also this works for me . best of luck</p>

<p>I am a 15 year old female and I have depression and OCD as well, if it matters.<br />
<br />What you describe is a little intense. Instead of freaking out, grab something and kill it! You have break free from your minds grasp on reality. Mind over matter. Besides, if you kill it it&#8217;s gone for ever and then you won&#8217;t have to worry about it dropping from the ceiling on you! Next time you see a spider, and it&#8217;s not in a full on charge at you, stop and breathe, make friends and kill it. I hate spiders too but I feel so much better if I smear&#8217;em!</p>

<br />Hi, it is the anxiety that brings on the panic attack.  You cannot have a panic attack when you are calm.<br />
people come into my new age shop with problems such as this every day. The panic attack is a release of the build up of anxiety or Adrenaline  in the body.  When the anxiety gets too much it has to have somewhere to go.  Its a bit like if you keep shaking a bottle of fizzy drink it fizzes up and then rises to the top and fizzes over.  Your panic attack is that fizzing over!</p>
<p>Here is an example of why we get anxiety and panic attacks<br />
Say, a wild animal is chasing us. as soon as we realise this we are fearful and our hearts start beating fast. we feel short of breath, our body may tingle etc, of course you&#8217;d be running so fast you wouldn&#8217;t be aware of any of this <img src='http://www.anxiety-release-method-cure.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  This is the adrenaline pumping around the body. As it pumps it gives us that surge of energy we need to react and get away from the animal. It is called fight or flight, when we get this surge of adrenaline we can either stand and fight the animal or run! ~Whichever, the adrenaline has given us that power surge to do it.<br />
Of course you can&#8217;t always run for your life OR fight, and so that surge of nervous energy is left there with nowhere to go, and THAT&#8217;S when you feel this dreadful anxiety, nervousness, fear and PANIC. </p>
<p>I suggest you get a calming crystal to carry with you, a GREEN AVENTURINE crystal or TREE AGATE. These are very soothing stones and there is a very pretty crystal called KUNZITE that is excellent in alleviating panic attacks.</p>
<p>Try lavender in the your room which is always soothing, burn it in an oil burner so that the room is FILLED with the soothing smell of lavender which is both good for alleviating anxiety, as well as sleep. And think of this anxiety as a tunnel you are going through. The tunnel is dark but there is light at the end, and you will soon reach the light, believe me, you will <img src='http://www.anxiety-release-method-cure.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> ) There is also lots of soothing music and sleep CDs to get you in to a relaxed state. You can get CDs to help with fears and panic attacks. With some the speaker takes you through a soothing garden, or to meet your guardian angel etc. These are Very soothing and of course the more calm you are the less fearful you will be. <br />You are having an anxiety attack when you heart starts beating really fast and you get sweaty, have a hard time getting your breath, feel nauseous, and have chest pains.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I had an anxiety attack last week, and since then, it feels like I&#8217;ve been out of touch with reality and it&#8217;s almost as if I have to reassure myself I am in reality.<br />
<br />Hey, I understand how you feel&#8230;</p>
<p>The uncomfortable symptoms like sweaty palms, &quot;jelly&quot; legs, extreme alertness, &quot;impending doom&quot; feeling and the fight-or-flight response.<br />
I&#8217;ve been there. I&#8217;m an ex-victim. Sometimes the deep breathing or distraction techniques doesn&#8217;t work &#8211; a full-blown panic or anxiety attack happens later.<br />
Sometimes you experience panic attack out of the blue and such.</p>
<p>Do NOT buy Panic Away, Linden Method, EasyCalm or the Panic Puzzle. They do NOT work &#8211; I&#8217;ve tried them and their solutions are similar &#8211; it DOESN&#8217;T WORK.<br />
Medications do NOT work &#8211; I was under many antidepressants (Prozac, Lexapro, Paxil and Zoloft) and anti-anxiety medications (Ativan, Klonopin, and Xanax) but my condition was the same &#8211; no improvement at all.</p>
<p>The only program that really work is The Panic Attack Solution. It&#8217;s found by an ex-victim. You can check out his old blog in his official website to read up some useful tips.<br />
